The IR-2 has 11 premium amp types paired with Celestion Digital IRs, offering high fidelity audio quality, with high quality 32-bit floating-point processing and a 96 kHz sampling rate.

With a simple to use interface featuring Level, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls, the IR-2 allows users to instantly tweak their sound with ease. The mono/stereo loop makes using post-amp effects simple, and the headphone jack enables monitoring and quiet practice. The USB-C interface also makes integration with music software easy, allowing users to load their favorite cab sims.

The IR-2's interface allows quick creation of sound by simply selecting an amp type, tweaking the sound with familiar controls, and adding natural spaciousness with the Ambience knob. The send/return loop allows for patching in modulation, delay, and reverb effects after the amp sounds, working in unison with stereo operation for even more versatility. This pedal also allows quick switching between two amp/cab tones with the pedal switch or an external footswitch, using the pedal's IR-2 IR Loader companion app (compatible with macOS/Windows) for loading your own cab IRs. The amp and cabinet sections can be independently turned on/off for isolated use, adding additional flexibility.
